Hatton's field was owned by Charles Hatton. The Potter family owned adjoining land. Potters farmed Hatton Field in the 1800s. It was no longer farmed in the 1900s . The field became a forest and is known today as Hatton's Forest. It is no longer owned by either family. A descendant of the Potters, my cousins Robert Exley, remains on the original farm. This is a representation. Hatton's Forest is just as beautiful. Most Arrived in America 1620-35.
